Q: Can I just sign up for individual courses?
A: No, Mosaic Dance is a 100% membership-based studio, as we believe this model provides the ideal learning environment.
Q: Do you offer any way to try classes, commitment-free?
A: We currently offer newcomers a 2-week unlimited membership. Check it out at our sign up page.
Q: Can I just buy one month's membership?
A: Yes, but we strongly recommend at least a 3-month period to get the full experience of what we offer.
Q: What if I find out that it's not for me? Is there any way to back out?
A: We allow a one-time transfer of membership for a small administrative fee of $50.
Q: Will I have to worry about rising membership costs in future?
A: Definitely not, we reward our loyal members by offering them renewal at the exact same rate they signed up at!
Q: What if I am suddenly posted overseas for awhile, or get injured and am unable to attend classes?
A: We allow members to suspend their membership, please read our Terms & Conditions for more details.
Q: Is 'Salsa On1' a pre-requisite to learning New York Salsa?
A: Although having basic Salsa On1 knowledge will help you, we highly recommend going through our courses from Beginner all the way up, as our syllabus is structured to teach you New York Salsa On 2, and it would benefit you greatly to re-visit the basics.
Q: Do I need to know basic Tango to learn Tango Nuevo?
A: Wai Chung is the only Tango instructor in Singapore to offer Tango Nuevo as a separate course, and from Beginner level upwards. Basic Tango knowledge is not necessary.
Q: Can I learn all the dances at one time?
A: Yes, you can! In fact, one of the ways to take full advantage of your membership is to try out all the dance styles.
Q: As a member, how do I register for a class?
A: Your membership ID and password will be sent to you via email once you sign up. You may then log on at our class schedule to register for classes.
Q: What if the class I want to take is full?
A: You will be waitlisted on our registration system, and will be notified of any cancellations 3-4 hours before the class time. Alternatively, you can come down to the studio and standby before the class.
Q: How many classes can I attend?
A: As many as you like! We encourage all members to make the most of their dancing experience. We just ask that you adhere to the booking guidelines stated in our Terms & Conditions
Q: Are there any other membership benefits besides unlimited classes?
A: Of course! Mosaic Dance is all about benefits! We offer our members free entry to all our practice and social nights. We have our 'Privileges' program where Mosaic Dance members will get discounts from out partner merchants. Mosaic Dance will bring in International Instructors periodically, and our members will be entitled to exclusive discounts and / or workshops for all events that we organize.
